Megan's Family Pumpkin Pie

If you want to impress people with the fact that you are using a real pumpkin. Some people claim it is better than the other one I put on here, but I will let you decide.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cut pumpkin in half, remove seeds, and bake for 50 min until inside is mashable or a fork glides through easily.
  3. Remove pumpkin inside and mash. You could put it in a food processor. Usually I use an electric mixer to beat it slightly.
  4. Roll out crust and blind bake for 7–8 min.
  5. Beat eggs until fluffy.
  6. Add all flour, sugar, salt, & spices. Stir to combine.
  7. Add cream and stir.
  8. Add pumpkin and stir.
  9. Bake at 400 degrees F for 50 min.
